3Ds Max Rendering
WORK in PROGRESS
Step 1 : Setting up
After open the 3ds Max software, and before i proceed, im checking my unit setup is in the right scale unit which is (milimeters) to avoid to be got into wrong scale
And also make sure the display unit in milimeters scale too
Enable the autoback up setting to avoid myself from any technical problem and the file is not been saved
Step 2 : Export and Import
Going back to revit and open the 3D view toget every thing ready to be export
Export the file in FBX format
Import the FBX file into 3ds Max
from this window, select autodesk Media and Entertaiment
and check all the setting, from light, to camera, and unit
Step 3 : Export and Import
10 Set the first physical camera on the floor plan as the camera that capture the exterior view
11 And secondly create another physical camera as the view for my interior space
12 After the camera was placed, i adjust the Z axis of my cameror and due to thsi particular level is lower then the ground level by 1000, therefore eye level will be around 500
13 after that adjust the focal length of the camera to get the optimum view
14 apply the same on the exterior camera, yet for my building, i set the exterior rendering view to a bird's eye level which is (12000mm) to have a view through into the centre of the building
Step 4 : Set the Sunposition
15 maximize the floor plan go to create window and click the lighting icon and place sun positioner on the floor plan
16 From the front view, adjust the sunposition
Step 5 : Pre-Rendering set up and output adjusting
17 Check the environment setting before reender the view.
18 Assigned the renderer to ART Renderer
19 All set, select the exterior camera frame and click the render preview to check the first rendering outcome
20 Adjust teh brightness, contrast value, exposure value to get a better rendering outcome
21 apply the same in another camera
22 set the render out put to hight and 1000 px according to the requirement and start the rendering
Step 6 : Post-Production
Due to 3Ds Max cannot read the tree imported from Revit, a post production was needed on the background by putting some tree to the surrounding and also the environment condition.
