Final Project:
Interpretation and Representation: Principles, Tectonics and Sensory
Project 03 is a bigger project compare to project 01 and project 02 which we have to combine all the knowledge, skill and experience to design a structure on 20m3 with the same banal action as in project 02. However, the sensory of the whole structure have to comply with our own story for the structure.
Design Intention
HOMESICK
Narrating the transform of feeling from the first day escape from home in to college life until the period of CMCO which our action were constrained and cannot back to the home town --- HOMESICK
Inspiration
Steven Holl in house design
I was attracted to such unique sphere design in a space which give a experience that was hug by a huge ball when stay inside the sphere
Lightning
This lightning give me a big impulse when the light beam penetrate in to the parametric design
Orange
This give me a intent to deign a sphere which give a sense a protected
Wave
Wave resemble the now a day society which attacked us when we residing in the city away from home.
Test Model

I was tried to rearrange the shape of the structure before apply the parametric technique in to the design. Yet, I seem like my previous design in project 02. Hence, I was stuck.
Various
After that, I was asking myself why not to create a sphere instead following Steven Holl design, at the same time test on the effect of the lightning when apply in the parametric sphere.

I am using the same technique, grid to plan all the thing well before I start to do my final model. Besides I also make all the thing fast to not repeating the same mistake as in project 02

Every part of the model is ok for me, as i finished the model 1 week before submissions to give myself enough time to work on the technical drawing.

I try to define the concept of the design with abstractive drawing which it can be see there is a contrast of bath abstractive drawing. The first narrating the wave and the wind from outside while the second told the warmness inside the sphere-HOME
Reflection
I love the setting of both project 02 and 03 which give us a space to create something new without constrained by any rules. I believe this will prepared us well to face a bigger challenge to design a bigger structure on a bigger space. Moreover, I believed this may give our more critical thinker who may think out of the box pushing the boundary of architecture to design more and more aesthetic architectural structure.
